He called it The Hall of Records, but it is commonly referred to as\n“the hidden hall”. 4.1.
Millions of tourists come to Mount Rushmore to see the heads of four American presidents.
The presidents, whose faces can be seen on the mountain, were chosen by a famous
sculptor, Gutzon Borglum, to present different ideas. George Washington represents the birth
of the American nation, Thomas Jefferson - the rise of America, Franklin D. Roosevelt -
the development of the country, and Abraham Lincoln - its strength.
