It was a night to remember! When Rob Gratton and The Camels got on stage,
the audience started cheering. The fans knew every song, word for word, and they sang
together with the band. Their first song was Freedom, followed by their new creation
Ahoy. But the crowd’s favourite was Civilisation. The band and the fans sang it together
over and over again. Rob Gratton’s performance was electrifying. As the band were
leaving the stage, a few fans approached them and gave each of them a toy camel.
In exchange the fans got beautiful T-shirts signed by the musicians. Definitely the best
concert of the 9th Mad River Music Festival!

Have you read my interview with Rob Gratton, the singer, guitarist and songwriter?
I was surprised to learn that he plays the melody on 5.4.
when he is trying to write the lyrics for his songs.
The Camels are going to perform his new song at the Mad River Music Festival next
week. I attended the 9th festival last year and I absolutely loved it! I was there with
a group of The Camels fans. After the concert, we met the members of the band and
we gave them 5.5. as a gift from us.
