With their white\nchocolate decorations, the new donuts were getting lots of positive comments and likes on\nthe bakery’s Instagram account. As a result, they were flying off the shelves - which was\ngreat. But Lindsay hadn’t realized just how many they’d need. By 2 p.m. she had made more\nof the donuts. She brought them out from the back of the bakery and walked towards\nthe front counter, wanting to take another picture for social media before putting them on\nthe display stand, next to the dark chocolate mousse donuts.\nHowever, she had not quite reached the counter when a man practically flew through\nthe front door and ran into her, and now twenty-three tiramisu donuts were lying on\nthe bakery floor. The last one had somehow landed on his shoulder. He quickly put it on\nthe nearest table. Lindsay looked at the donuts lying on the floor. They were ruined.\n“Look what you have done!” she cried.\n“They’re just donuts,” he answered.\nHe spoke in such a casual way as though it was no big deal. Lindsay folded her arms and\nwas about to shout at him when she heard a loud “Oh!” behind her. She turned round. It was\nher co-worker Raquel. She looked at the man again. The man was wearing a white shirt, now\ncovered in white chocolate. Lindsay thought that Raquel was pleased that the man had got\nwhat he deserved.\nLindsay pointed to the donut on the table.\n“Try it, please,” she said.\n“Hmm, it isn’t bad, but tiramisu isn’t my thing. I’ll pay for the ruined donuts, however,” he said\nafter taking a bite.\n“One donut costs 3 dollars 50 cents. So… that’s 84 dollars for all of them,” Lindsay\nexplained.\n“Eighty-four dollars for donuts? That’s too much!” the man said.\n“There are lots of quality ingredients in those donuts,” Lindsay replied.\nHe walked over to the cash register and pulled out a credit card.\n“I’ll get a chocolate cupcake, too.” He grabbed one from the counter and popped it into his\nmouth. “Now, this is good. And sorry about the donuts.”\nAfter paying, he headed out into the sunshine, and as soon as the door closed behind him,\nRaquel said, “Do you know who that was? Ryan Kwok! The famous actor!” Raquel took out\nher phone and showed Lindsay a picture. Then Lindsay went to his Instagram account.\nThe profile picture looked like the guy who’d just walked out of the bakery.
